COVID Protocol Update
Effective Monday, February 7, 2022, the Midland School District will begin following updated guidance from DESE and ADH for Kindergarten through 12th grade. The District will no longer require close contacts to COVID-19 positive cases to quarantine. ONLY those who are positive for COVID-19 or who are symptomatic must quarantine. This means that students and/or staff who are not positive for COVID-19 and who are not symptomatic may return to school. Contact tracing of COVID-19 cases and utilization of the Test to Stay protocols will no longer be in place. However, quarantine guidelines for COVID-19 positive cases will remain the same (5 days quarantine then 5 days of mask-wearing upon return). The wearing of a mask and vaccination still remain options for all individuals as a method of fighting the spread of the virus. AAA guidance for athletes will still be followed.
